Jeff Green announced on Friday that he had retired from NASCAR.
Green, 58, won the 2000 NASCAR Xfinity Series championship and 16 Xfinity Series races in his career which began in 1990. Green competed in 535 races in the series including five last season.

In his Cup Series career Green competed in 270 races scoring five top-five and 16 top-10 finishes.
