Qualifying heat races were cancelled on Saturday for NASCAR’s Cup Series’ Bristol Dirt race but currently Sunday’s race is still being planned for 3:30 pm ET.
This forced the lineup to be set by qualifying metrics which are based on race finish, points position, and fastest race lap. Kyle Larson earned the pole but will drop to the rear due to an engine change. Last week’s winner Ryan Blaney starts third.
