Golden Tate is expected to play in Sunday’s game against the Bears.

Out with a hamstring injury, this will be Tate’s first game of the year after he sat out Week 1. He did get in a limited practice on Friday and participated in some individual drills earlier in the week.

With Tate out the Giants relied on Darius Slayton as their No. 1 receiver last week and it would not be a surprise to see that same scenario play out in Week 2 against the Bears.

A season ago Tate hauled in 49 catches on 85 targets for 676 yards and six touchdowns.
