Matt DiBenedetto began the race on the pole thanks to an inversion of the field from Saturday’s results.
The first incident of the day came out on lap 7 when Joey Logano made contact with Ricky Stenhouse Jr. The result of the incident saw Chase Elliott run into the back of Kyle Busch heavily damaging his car while Joey Gase and Garrett Smithley also sounds.
Kevin Harvick would pass Ryan Blaney with two to go in the first stage for the stage win. Harvick would win the second stage of the race as well and was out front with less than 100 to go when Quin Houff spun out. That spin brought everyone to pit road with 94 laps left in the race.
The final caution came out for Corey LaJoie while Jimmie Johnson would take two tires to move to the lead it was short lived as Harvick passed him for the lead.
