Sheldon Creed wins Daytona Road Course truck race

Sheldon Creed won Sunday’s NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series race at the Daytona rod course.

Pole sitter Zane Smith overran the first turn and found himself shuffled back outside the top 20. Brett Moffitt would lead all of stage one which ended under caution after a two truck crash.

Christian Eckes assumed the lead after pit stops as he did not stop. Matt Crafton would quickly pass Eckes as would others. Crafton would have an issue in turn six going off course allowing Sheldon Creed to take the lead and win the second stage.
