Brandon Jones used a last lap pass to score the win in Saturday’s Kansas Lottery 250.
Entering the race with wins in the last three races, Austin Cindric would sweep the first two stages of the race but a late mistake would ruin his day.
Joe Graf Jr. brought out a caution in the closing laps to bring on overtime. Ryan Sieg would assume the lead as everyone else came to pit road for fresh tires.
Sieg would hold the lead after a spin for Jesse Little resulted in NASCAR going back to the last scoring loop as television viewers were left thinking that Cindric and Ross Chastain were battling for the lead.
Cindric would pass Sieg for the lead as Chase Briscoe hit the wall and developed a flat tire. Brandon Jones would then pass Cindric to take the lead and was able to hang on for the win in the Kansas Lottery 250 for his third career win.
