Hamlin wins at Kansas, Cup Results

Denny Hamlin won the Super Start Batteries 400 at Kansas Speedway on Thursday night.

Kyle Busch won the first stage of the race.

Early in the night Ricky Stenhouse Jr. would be forced from the race following an electrical issue inside the car.

Brad Keselowski on four new tires would pass Ryan Blaney who only took two tires in the closing laps to claim stage two.

Bubba Wallace would run into a sliding Matt Kenseth early in stage three ending his night. On the ensuing restart Joey Logano would have an issue as he went up and hit the wall the cars of Jimmie Johnson and Matt DiBenedetto would take on damage.

In the end it was Denny Hamlin scoring his fifth win of the season.
