Bowman wins Auto Club 400, Fontana Results

Alex Bowman won Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Auto Club Speedway.

Clint Bowyer began the day on the pole in Fontana with Alex Bowman and Ryan Blaney splitting the first two stages of the Auto Club 400.

Martin Truex Jr., who started last after he was not allowed to qualify following inspection failures, would establish himself as the leader early in stage three.

Bowman would reestablish himself as the leader in the stage and was unchallenged.
