The deal between Todd Frazier and the Texas Rangers has been finalized.
Frazier will earn $5 million during the 2020 season with a club option worth $5.75 million in 2021. The deal was first reported on Sunday.
The Rangers will likely play Frazier at third base now that Anthony Rendon and Josh Donaldson have inked deals elsewhere. Frazier also has played first base in the past.
Last season he hit .259/.329/.443 with 21 homers and 67 RBI.
