The San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl features a match-up of the No. 22 USC Trojans (8-4) and the No. 16 Iowa Hawkeyes (9-3).
Coverage of the 42nd annual Holiday Bowl will air on Fox Sports 1 beginning at 8:00 pm ET on Friday Dec. 27.
Odds-makers have Iowa as a two point favorite against USC. The over/under for this contest is 52.5 total points.
Both schools enter this contest on three game win streaks. USC’s last loss came on Nov. 2 to Oregon by a 56-24 score. Wins over ASU, Cal and UCLA paved their way to this bowl game.
Iowa has rebounded following a Nov. 19 loss to Wisconsin by defeating then No. 8 Minnesota on Nov. 16 and then defeating Illinois and Nebraska in the following two weeks.
