During the Axalta “nice tweets” featuring William Byron it was revealed that the Flames of Independence scheme would run again at Homestead to close out the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season.
While all the focus will be on the championship battle, Byron and Axalta will undoubtedly catch some eyes.
Byron’s drove the patriotic car in the 2019 Coke Zero 400. Featuring a white background and familiar yellow No. 24, the Chevrolet featured red and blue flames on the sides in the event which nearly saw Byron score his first career win. Byron would have to settle for second in the event.
