Brisket suffers knee injury, Hoyer tosses TD

The Colts needed to call upon Brian Hoyer in Sunday’s game against the Steelers after Jacoby Brissett suffered a knee injury.

Brissett suffered the injury after a short incomplete pass on first-and-goal but was able to jog to the sideline to be checkered by trainers.

The injury occurred when guard Quinten Nelson was pushed back into the quarterback and stepped right on Brissett’s left leg.

Brissett is questionable to return.

Hoyer came into the game and immediately found tight end Jack Doyle for a touchdown.
