The North Carolina Highway Patrol says a tractor trailer, carrying members of a NASCAR team was involved in a incident on I-40 leaving two injured.
FOX Carolina reports that the tractor trailer was traveling westbound on I-40 near mile marker 93 in McDowell County when it traveled off the right side of the roadway and crashed through the guardrail on the shoulder. The trailer then went down an embankment and overturned before coming to a stop.
The NCHP is investigating the crash. Two team members were taken to thr hospital with serious but non-lifethreatening injuries.
