A sold out crowd will have to wait for the start of the Bojangles’ Southern 500 on Sunday.
The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race was scheduled to start just after 6 pm ET but rain began falling on the 1.366 mile track.
With rain expected to fall for a minimum of 30 minutes fans will have to wait this one out.
