Kyle Busch wins Pocono 400, NASCAR Cup Series Results

Heavy rains from Saturday night resulted in a competition caution on lap 20 of the Pocono 400. Pole sitter William Byron would lead the field to that point but by the end of the first stage had fallen to second place. Kyle Larson would win the first stage which was highlighted by Austin Dillon hitting the wall and ending his day.

Kyle Busch would take the lead early in stage two while Matt DiBenedetto and David Ragan were involved in an incident. Larson would win stage 2 but it became clear that Busch was the car to beat after he had pitted late on stage 2 while leading.

Busch appeared on his way to cruising to a win until Ricky Stenhouse Jr. hit the wall with 14 laps to go.

Larson would hit the wall after cutting up in front of Clint Bowyer on lap 10. He would make his way to put road.

In the end it was Busch claiming his 55th career win tying Rusty Wallace for ninth most in Cup Series history.
