Austin Wayne Self returns to the Gander Outdoors Truck Series this weekend at Dover International after completing NASCAR’s road to recovery. Self will start Friday’s Jegs 200 in the 17th position.
The 23-year-old Self ran the first three events of the GOTS season before being suspended for events at Martinsville and Texas. The truck series has not run a race since March 29.
Bubba Wallace drove Self’s No. 22 truck during his suspension placing a best finish of 10th at Texas.
