Tyler Reddick will run the full NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule in an attempt to win his second straight series title but he will also make an attempt in the Daytona 500.
Reddick will attempt to make The Great American Race in Feb. 17 in a car fielded by Richard Childress Racing.
While RCR will have two full time teams, No. 3 and No. 8, the No. 31 car will make an attempt in the Daytona 500.
A year ago Ryan Newman drove the No. 31 Chevrolet for RCR but points in that car were shifted to the No. 8 meaning Reddick will have to qualify for the 500 mile race.
If Reddick qualifies it will mark his first Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race.
