The Diamondbacks have added free agent reliever Greg Holland on a one-year deal according to Ken Rosenthal and Robert Murray.
Holland is expected to earn $3.5 million in base salary with bonuses that could double that amount.
After leading the NL with 41 saves in 2017, Holland struggled to find a suitor last season before latching on to the Cardinals.
Holland struggled with a 7.92 ERA and 2.24 WHIP in 32 games with the Cardinals before being released and picked up by the Nationals. In 24 games with the nationals he posted a 0.84 ERA and 0.89 WHIP.
A three time All-Star, Holland figures to be the favorite for saves with the Diamondbacks. Moving Archie Bradley and Yoshihisa Hirano to setup roles.
