Starting from the pole for the final race before the championship 4 will be Kevin Harvick. The driver of the No. 4 Ford Fusion posted the fastest time in Friday’s Busch Pole Qualifying for Sunday’s running of the Can-Am 500.
The 1-mile track has undergone severe renovations including the movement of the start finish line. This is not the same place these drivers are use to being at and how that impacts who makes the championship 4 will be one interesting tale to follow.
Sunday’s race airs on NBC and the NBC Sports App beginning at 2:30 pm ET. The green flag is scheduled to drop at 2:45 pm ET for 312 laps or 312 miles of action.
Matt Kenseth scored an emotional win here last fall while Kevin Harvick who recently had his win at Texas removed from counting for the playoffs won the spring event earlier this year.
