Spencer Gallagher will give up his role as a full-time driver fro GMS Racing following the NASCAR Xfinity Series season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Prior to Xfinity Series practice at Kansas Speedway the announcement came that Gallagher would move into a managerial role with the team for the 2019 season.
Gallagher, 28, is the son of team owner Maurice Gallagher who is the owner of Allegiant Airlines.
Earlier this year Gallagher won his first Xfinity Series race at Talladega Superspeedway.
