Kevin Harvick wins Richmond Pole, Federated Auto Parts 400 qualifying results

Kevin Harvick claimed the pole on Friday for Saturday’s running of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Richmond Raceway.

The second playoff race takes place on Saturday takes place at the 0.75-mile Richmond track who saw playoff driver Kyle Busch go to victory lane when the series visited this spring.  Kyle Larson, another playoff driver, went to victory lane last fall.

Drivers will be looking to help their playoff chances as a familiar track before the end of the first playoff round wraps up at the Charlotte Roval next week.

NBCSN and the NBC Sports App will have coverage of Saturday’s running of the Federated Auto Parts 400 beginning at 7:30 pm ET. The green flag for the 400 laps race is expected to wave at 7:43 pm ET.
