Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager will miss his second straight game due to a stomach virus. Filling in for Seager will be Danny Valencia who will bat sixth in the contest against the Orioles. On the mound for the Orioles will be right hander Ubaldo Jimenez.
In 116 games this season the 29-year-old Seager has hit a stead .255/.325/.447 with 18 home runs and 62 driven in.
Due to a recent slide the Mariners find themselves 1.5 games out of a Wild Card spot in the American League. The Orioles enter Wednesday 2 games out themselves.
All signs suggest Seager will return sooner rather than later.
