In an effort to have one of baseball’s best outfields – offensively and defensively – the Angels are said to be interested in free agent Jason Heyward.
Jon Morosi reports the Angels have not ruled out pursuing Heyward as they look to upgrade their outfield. Heyward won the 2015 Gold Glove Award in right field for the National League. Kole Calhoun who currently is listed as the Angels right fieldr won the Gold Glove in the American League.
The Angels are also said to be interested in Yoenis Cespedes. If the Angels land either Heyward or Cespedes to complement Calhoun and Mike Trout they will have upgraded their outfield.
