Matt Kenseth wins pole, Pure Michigan 400 qualifying results

Matt Kenseth led a Joe Gibbs Racing domination of qualifying nabbing the pole for Sunday’s Pure Michigan 400 at Michigan International Speedway.

Joining Kenseth on the front row for the 200 lap race at the 2-mile Michigan International Speedway is Denny Hamlin. JGR teammate Carl Edwards starts third. Kyle Busch will start sixth.

Jeff Gordon won this race a year ago while it was Kurt Busch who went to victory lane earlier this year.

The Pure Michigan 400 will air on NBCSN beginning at 2:30 pm ET. The green flag will wave at 2:46 pm ET.
