An MRI on the elbow of St. Louis Cardinals relief pitcher Matt Belisle revealed no major structural damage.
Belisle has been out of action for the last few days after experiencing discomfort in his right elbow but the Cardinals have diagnosed it as simply inflammation.
The middle relief pitcher should return to the Cardinals bullpen shortly after the All-Star break. He will return to a 3.00 ERA and a 1.53 WHIP across 30 innings.
