Ubaldo Jimenez threw eight scoreless innings in Sunday’s win over the Cleveland Indians.
The Orioles won the game 4-0 after Jimenez allowed just four hits and struck out seven. The quality start moves Jimenez to 7-3 on the season with a 3.09 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP. He owns a 89/27 K/BB ratio on the season and has another favorable match-up against the Chicago White Sox for Friday.
It has been quite a bounce back season for Jimenez who last year finished 6-9 with a 4.81 ERA and out of the Orioles rotation.
