Major League Baseball has suspended Baltimore Orioles relief pitcher Brian Matusz eight games for the foreign substance on his arm from Saturday night.
Matsuz, like Will Smith of the Milwaukee Brewers, was given an eight game suspension. Matsuz has already appealed his suspension and will be available to pitch out of the bullpen until an appeal is heard.

Though 14 games Matsuz owns a 3.18 ERA and a 1.35 WHIP. He pitched two innings on Sunday allowing a hit while striking out two.
