The St. Louis Cardinals are leaning towards giving left hander Jamie Garcia a start on Thursday.
Garcia, 28, has been working his way back from his latest set of shoulder issues and has made a few minor league rehab starts.

Tyler Lyons has had trouble as the teams fifth starter. Garcia is coming off a good outing on Friday in which he went six innings striking out six and allowing two runs.
The Cardinals have never shied away from their desire to have Garcia in the rotation this season but expecting him to stay healthy until the end may be asking too much.
