The fastest car in Saturday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series qualifying session at Talladega Superspeedway was the No. 24 Drive to End Hunger Chevrolet of Jeff Gordon.
Joining Gordon on the front row for the start of the Geico 500 will be Hendrick Motorsports teammate Kasey Kahne.
Coverage of NASCAR’s Geico 500 will air on FOX beginning at 1:00 pm ET on Sunday. The green flag is set to wave at 1:20 pm ET.
Denny Hamlin won this event last year. Brad Keselowski won here in the fall.
