The NFL’s leading rusher is leaving the Dallas Cowboys for the division rival Philadelphia Eagles.

DeMarco Murray will sign a five-year deal with the Eagles worth $42 million where he will be reunited with Sam Bradford with whom he played with at the University of Oklahoma. Murray’s new contract contains $21 million in guaranteed money.

“It was never about the money in any situation,” Murray texted Todd Archer of ESPN. “If it was the money, I could’ve taken that a long time ago on a very high deal. It’s about winning a Super Bowl and being fair.”

The deal for Murray comes just a day after the Eagles were said to be signing former San Diego Chargers running back Ryan Mathews on a three-year deal worth $11.5 million.
