Dale Earnhardt Jr. won the first of two Budweiser Duel’s on Thursday night from the 2.5-mile Daytona International Speedway beating teammate Jeff Gordon to the finish line for the right to start third in the Daytona 500.
Jeff Gordon began the 60 lap race on the pole after setting the fast time in qualifying last Sunday and will start the Great American Race on the pole.
