The Orioles continue to pursue free agent outfielder Colby Rasmus.
According to Jim Bowden of ESPN, talks between teh two sides are “gaining steam.”
The Orioles are one of a few teams who have been linked to Rasmus who seems certain to land a one-year prove it deal regardless of where he signs.

Rasmus has shown a power stroke in the past but is coming off a poor 2014 season in which he hit a mere .225/.287/.448 with 18 home runs in 104 games for the Blue Jays.
Orioles manager Buck Showalter recently flew to Alabama to meet Rasmus and given what one-year in Baltimore did for Nelson Cruz it would be assumed that Rasmus has genuine interest in playing for the Orioles this coming season.
