Former Florida Gators quarterback Jeff Driskel is leaving the sunshine state and heading to Louisiana Tech reports JC Shurburtt of 247 Sports.
Driskel has already graduated and could immediately start wherever he lands. Apparently that landing spot will be at Louisiana Tech.
Under head coach Skip Holtz, the Bulldogs were 9-5 last season but in need of a quarterback after Cody Sokol graduated.
Driskel must have been told he was in line to start if he choose the Bulldogs. He would not figure to use his last year of eligibility to sit on the bench.
