Confused yet. What a difference one win makes for the future of Robert Griffin III.
Griffin played well in Saturday’s upset of the Eagles and now there is celebratory talk about how he will return to Washington as their starting quarterback next season. What that means for Jay Gruden is unclear but it was reported last week that the Redskins told him he would return next season.
Pro Football Talk says that the future of Griffin was never in doubt even as the Redskisn quarterback situation was in flux. Given that this outlet led to much of that talk you can feel free to scratch your head but again one win could have changed a lot. Now 4-11 on the season the Redskins will try to upset the Cowboys next week.
