Chris Davis gets an exemption to use Adderall

Last season Orioles first baseman Chris Davis was suspended 25 games for using adderall.

Davis played the 2013 season with an exemption to use adderall but did not receive an exemption for the 2014 season. Appearing on The Fan 105.7 Orioles manager Buck Showalter said that Davis had received an exemption for the 2015 season.

The 28-year-old still has one game left on his suspension from last season meaning he will miss Opening Day.

Davis hit .196/.300/.404 last season adding 26 home runs and 72 RBI across 127 games. It was a far dip from the 1.004 OPS, 53 home runs and 138 RBI he posted the previous year.
