You cannot say this is a surprise. Georgia Bulldogs head coach Mark Richt all but confirmed that injured running back Todd Gurley would be heading to the NFL in 2015.
A Heisman hopeful early on, Gurley was suspended for selling autographs. Upon his return in mid-November he tore his ACL.
Asked about Gurley’s recover by a fan during a radio interview Richt responded.
“Todd is recovering very well,” Richt said. “It was very sad the day that it happened, but his spirits are good, he’s working hard. He’s going to be healthy before you know it.”
Mark Richt shrugged off his name being linked to the Nebraska job. "Georgia's our home. We love it. This is where we want to be."

While the ACL injury was a bad break for Gurley, his early round value still remains. He finishes his time at Georgia with 3,900 total yards and 42 touchdowns in 30 games.
