Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles is expected to practice and play this week despite dealing with shoulder and ankle injuries.
Bortles underwent an MRI and it apparently showed more than just inflammation.
The rookie has has struggled largely since taking over for Chad Henne. Even if his snaps in practice are limited signs point to him starting. The Jaguars have little to gain by sitting him out at this point.

In Bortles’ ten games this year he has completed 62.4-percent of his passes for 2261 yards while tossing nine touchdowns and 15 interceptions. His high completion percentage and yards have largely been accumulated in garbage time.
