Brian Vickers set the fast time in Saturday’s qualifying session for the Geico 500 at Talladega Superspeedway.
The driver of the No. 55 Aaron’s Toyota Camry will be joined by Jimmie Johnson on the front row of Sunday’s race which consists of 188 laps around the 2.66-mile Talladega Superspeedway.
Coverage of Sunday’s race will air on ESPN beginning at 2:00 pm ET with the green flag set to wave at 2:19 pm ET.
Jamie McMurray won this event a year ago while Denny Hamlin was victorious when the Sprint Cup Series visited here in the spring.
