It was bound to happen again sometime. Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Tyron Smith was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week becoming the first offensive lineman to receive the honor since 2004.
Smith and his Cowboy teammates have been paving the way for DeMarco Murray who leads the NFL in rushing yards. On Sunday the Cowboys offensive line was key as they defeated the Seahawks in Seattle.
The last lineman to win the Offensive Player of the Week award was Brian Waters of the Kansas City Chiefs who won it in 2004.
