Eric Decker sat out the Jets dismal showing a week ago against the Chargers. Perhaps the veteran wide receiver was resting his hamstring for a “revenge” game against his former team, the Broncos.
Jets coach Rex Ryan said on Friday that Decker is expected to play in the Week 6 contest. If Decker does play he will be focused on by the Broncos defense and the Jets quarterbacks have shown an inability to get their passing game going.
Decker parlayed huge numbers with Peyton Manning into a sizable contract. Since then injures and poor play by the Jets have resulted in just 14 catches for 204 yards and two touchdowns though four games.
