The Detroit Lions have settled on yet another kicker this season.
After beginning the season with rookie Nate Freese making just three of seven attempts the team moved on to Alex Henery who was just 1-of-5.
Now it is former Denver Broncos kicker Matt Prater taking over the kicking duties for the Lions. Prater was hit with a four game suspension this season and before he could be activated the team opted to release him and keep rookie Brandon McManus.
The Lions needed a kicker and have landed one of the NFL’s more accurate options.
