Morris Claiborne made a game sealing interception late against the Rams on Sunday but it may not be enough for the former No. 6 overall pick to keep his job as a starting cornerback on the Cowboys.
Claiborne was picked on repeatedly by the Rams on Sunday giving up a 51-yard touchdown pass to Brian Quick, a four yard touchdown pass to Austin Pettis and a 38-yard competition to Kenny Britt.
All those competitions in the direction of Claiborne has head coach Jason Garrett pondering a change.
“[In Claiborne] I don’t see a player who is playing without confidence, but I know when you play well, your confidence grows.” said Garrett on Monday, via the Dallas Morning News.
Orlando Scandrick could move back into the corner spot opposite of Brandon Carr.
