Mike Minor leaves start with shoulder discomfort

With the Braves fading down the stretch it appears the season of left handed starter Mike Minor will come to a close following just one inning of work on Saturday.

Minor got a late start to the season after dealing with tendinitis in his throwing shoulder and then struggled for much of the season. Lately he began to look like the pitcher that impressed the Braves a year ago. Now it appears his shoulder is again a problem.

More should be known in the coming days but right now there is not a cause of concern.

Minor will finish the season with a 4.77 ERA and a 1.44 WHIP across 25 starts.
