This is it – the last chance to make the Chase. The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will run its 26th and final regular season race this Saturday night at the Richmond International Raceway.
In essence all but one Chase spot is locked up but a field on win-less drivers going for broke could make the Federated Auto Parts 400 another exciting race in the history of RIR.
Beginning Saturday’s race on the pole will be Brad Keselowski in the No. 24 Chevrolet SS. He will be joined by Jeff Gordon as 43 cars take the green flag.
Coverage of the Sprint Cup Series’ Federated Auto Parts 400 will air on ABC beginning at 7:30 pm ET with the green flag to wave at 7:44 pm ET. The race will consist of 400 laps, or 300 miles of racing excitement.
Joey Logano won the most recent race at Richmond this spring while Carl Edwards was victorious in this race a year ago.
