After 12 seasons the end has come for linebacker James Harrison.
Harrison was a may-stay of the Pittsburgh Steelers defense from 2004-2012 after joining as an undrafted free agent out of Kent State. He spent last season with the Cincinnati Bengals before hitting free agency.
While Arizona brought him in for a visit, he did not receive a contract. Harrison finishes his career with 66 career sacks and 29 forced fumbles and one impressive 100-yard interception returned for a touchdown in Super Bowl 43.
There is a wide variety of attitudes about Harrison but one would expect him to earn a place in the Steelers ring of honor.
