Kevin Harvick wins pole at Bristol, full qualifying results for Irwin Tools Night Race

Kevin Harvick won the pole for Saturday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway.

The driver of the No. 4 Jimmy Johns Chevrolet SS set the fast time with a lap of 14.607 seconds in the final round of qualifyings setting a new track record. He will be joined by Jeff Gordonon the front row for the Irwin Tools Night Race.

Kyle Larson who was the fastest in opening practice found the wall early in the first qualifying session. Before long he was joined by Aric Almirola.

Coverage of the Irwin Tools Night Race will air on ABC beginning at 7:30 pm ET with the green flag to wave at 7:43 pm ET. (check local listings as some markets will be preempted by preseason football and air on other ESPN network channels)

Matt Kenseth won this race a season ago while Carl Edwards won when the Cup Series first raced at Bristol this season.
