Today the WWE Network has gone global. Now more than 170 countries will carry the network including Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mexico, Spain, and the Nordics.
The WWE Network is expected to hit the U.K. in October while Italy, UAE, Germany, Japan, India, China, Thailand and Malaysia will follow sometime after.
Also the WWE today announced that WWE Network will be available by tomorrow on Sony internet connected TVs, Blu-ray Disc players and Blu-ray Home Theater systems. By this Friday, WWE Network will be available on Samsung Smart TV devices, Blu-ray Players and Home Theater systems.
A plan for the WWE Network to be offered without the six month commitment has been altered. Origially the WWE was to offer the programming for $19.99 per month but that price has been dropped to just $12.99.
For fans who subscribe to a six-month commitment the price will remain $9.99 as evident by the constant use of the price on RAW in previous weeks.
