A spot on the 53 man roster of the Carolina Panthers is not guaranteed for running back Kenjon Barner.
While we still believe that Barner – a sixth round pick in 2013 – offers value as a back and return man others are not so certain he makes the team.
Steve Reed of the Associated Press added that wide receiver Tiquan Underwood and cornerback Josh Thomas are also on the roster bubble.
Three known Panthers who should have growing concern about making the 53: WR Tiquan Underwood, RB Kenjon Barner and CB Josh Thomas.

Barner saw six rushes last season totaling just seven yards and he caught two passes for seven yards while dealing with foot and ankle issues. His most touches came in a week 13 win where he ran five times for six yards.
Darrin Reaves is competing with Barner for a roster spot.
