Speaking to reporters on Sunday, Milwaukee Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said that starting pitcher Matt Garza would not return to the rotation once his 15 day stint on the disabled list is over.
Garza, 30, is dealing with a strained left oblique.
Forget everything RR said about Matt Garza yesterday. RR allowed today that this will be longer than a 15-day DL stint.

The right handed Garza has not begun a throwing program and is expected to wait a few more days before he starts one.
In 23 starts this season Garza is 7-7 with a 3.58 ERA and a 1.13 WHIP.
