The August trade value of Cliff Lee took a hit (and likely fully evaporated) on Thursday night when he left his start with a strained left flexor pronator.

Lee was sidelined earlier this season with the same injury. It is unknown whether or not Lee will need surgery this time around. He will be examined on Saturday.

In 12 starts this season Lee was 4-5 with a 3.78 ERA and a 1.41 WHIP.

Lee is owed $25 million next season. His 2016 salary is $27.5 million but has a $12.5 million buyout.
